Interesting issues with new PC
Hi all,
so this weekend, I built up a new PC (E8400, P35 motherboard, 4Gigs RAM, Vista 64) Once everything was set up, it was time to connect to my broadband. I was ready to go to the autoregister site, had all my info, etc. and nothing - it went straight on the network with no registration of a new PC with a new NIC. Now, I'm not complaining as the registration process never seems to go smoothly with me but has VM removed the registration process now? On another note, my BB flies now!!! My old machine (Ahtlon XP 200, 768Megs RAM, XP Home) gave me around 10-13Gb on a 20Gb connection. Now I get 18-19.:D |
Re: Interesting issues with new PC
You only have to register a modem once then you can plug it into however many pcs and it will work you only have to re register STBs

Ahhhh, I see.... I am more used to BB through the STB where you had to register each new PC. Should have done my research before turning my place upside down to find all the details
