virginmedia ntl blocked ports problems
hi can you get routers that do Loopback Connections .and what makes and would i have the same problem with a new modem , ps3 works ok on belkin router other computers work ok .so why is this causeing to be a pain the butt
I am having issues connecting to my Security camera DVR remotely through my belkin router . I think i have things setup properly. I have reserved LAN IP for the DVR , Placed IP in DMZ, Disabled SPI firewall and even forwrded port 80 i think is working . i can launch and opperate the dvr from my computer and view the Multi-channel disk recording system behind the router I Can access the DVR on all local computers but i cannot access from a computer outside my network.?? i ran a test and it said port 80 and i tried some other port settings also was refused. message of test page This typically indicates that there are no services available on that port, but that it is NOT being blocked by a firewall or your ISP. both fire walls was disabled at the time no virus softwear was on .someone must know away round this if so can you help me is there any other ports that i can use to view my dvr i have tried some but failed Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. thanks jm |

I think the D-link one was a di-604, the AT an AR220E. Hope this helps you avoid some non workers. A PM to AbyssUnderground might get you some help. He sorted my problems.Unfortunately I've misplaced his address. |
