This is invasion and the iraqi's are fighting imperialism like anyone would do if hell was brought to the streets of your town beyond your control and then was controlling them blowing them up, killing your families members.

I doubt this is the case. Maybe you should have some respect! These people are giving their lives, for us! Personally I wouldn't bother with comments like yours! It doesn't matter what the reason is, the family's of these people are loosing loved ones. I for one, think this country needs to wind its neck in and pay some respect.

There may be many reasons for this war and it's aparant, the *primary* reason isn't to clear this world of evil and hate - the reason for the war is oil, thats obvious but still soliders, men & women are dying for us.

So I believe its the given right to wear their uniform off base.. just like coppers, paramedics, even people that work at Tesco have the right to do so, so why shouldn't they!

No surprise, Your Wrong. Our men and women are hero's and they have died so that you have the right to stay at home and critisise.

Ive seen unreal videos of US and UK troops that have been ambushed by iraqi fighters, while protecting innocent iraqi's. Some of those troops died in the incident.

I think a lot of people agree with you that they shouldnt have been sent there in the first place. But they have, now its not their fault they are there. They are following orders and deserve some respect for offering their life for their country.

You have been told about using that term against other members. I do not want to see that being used again.

And for your information - noone gets away with anything scot free.

I am getting sick and tired of members saying things like this - You have been told time and time again that if a member is annoying you, report them and or you use your ignore feature, members do not engage in petty insults and arguments because they have a problem with a certain member.

I also repeatedly stated over and over again about people swearing or starring out swear words - It will not be tolerated on this board.

Just when I was thinking that the Forum had been taken over by Royals loving, forelock tugging, brainwashed ex-military types.

A bit like a few years ago down South when "The Big House" burned down killing the Lord of the Manor and his wife, the media was interviewing one of the villagers who was very sad, "his Lordship was a wonderful man, he used to let my husband go up to the house to feed the dogs", shows just how pathetic the British can be.

But the Americans are quite happy with their leaders trying to rule the world.

Our service men do deserve respect they are being forced to fight in 2 pointless wars and dying for the privilege however it may not be as clear cut as put across as in my town often squaddies from Bramcote Barrocks come into town at weekends and cause trouble fighting and the like
