What's All This, Then?

Oh dear. Chris Morris has a lot to answer for, obviously, but surely the police can afford to employ reality-based staff? Quote:

From the link
"A Thames Valley Police spokeswoman said the force would not be holding an internal inquiry over the incident but, instead, it would be reminding its staff of necessary procedures. " Sounds a good idea to me. |
Re: What's All This, Then?
'Welcome to the force, here's your kit, constable; truncheon, whistle and link to snopes.com'

In the day 'Strawberry Fields' was both a Beatles song & the tab of choice - allegedly, could there be a connection ? :D

Re: What's All This, Then?
come off it, when Thames Valley Police can't understand that men can be victims of domestic violence, not perpetrators, you can't expect them to get little things like whether drugs are fictional or not right ;)
Still, they're not as dopey as Humberside Police right? |
Re: What's All This, Then?
TVP were the ones who didn't realise bugging an MP in private conversation with a constituent was morally iffy.
Actually, the officer involved did raise qualms, but he's had an enormously expensive investigation and prosecution launched against him since he pointed it out. That'll teach him. On the other hand, they did run a successful prosecution against a remarkably persistent and unpleasant stalker: http://rachelnorthlondon.blogspot.co...-has-been.html |
