Works ok for me.

Have you tried specifying a proxy server in Internet Explorer? I sometimes have trouble accessing certain websites. Using "webcache.virginmedia.com" as my proxy usually allows access to these websites.

.

I'm not sure how to do any of that, i'm on a mac.

Is it worth phoning, anyone have a particular number for which to contact to let them know?

Re: Not able to get on 1 site?

Hey Jez. I see you beat me to it.

Joxer: I ran a tracert, it's fine until the 12th step then after that it's 'Request timed out'.

XFS03: I'm using a proxy to get onto the website for the time being, but it's slow and quite a pain.

Re: Not able to get on 1 site?

Looks like a bogon filter issue, you need to contact the hosting company and get them to update the filters. The mail url www.bewdly.net has only one link on it for webmail, on that page is a list of issues with said webmail and a contact simon.at.bewdley.net who appears to be the webmail admin and may be able to help or supply appropriate contact info. I'm assuming you won't be able to get to that site either. The other option is just to wait, the filters should update at some point.

Incidentally to do a traceroute on a mac applications->utilities->network utility->traceroute type in www.villatalk.com and click trace.

or

applications->utilities->console and then type traceroute www.villatalk.com

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately as you said www.bewdly.net doesn't work either so I guess it's just a matter of waiting.

Hi,

It only works for me, when I go via an NTL Proxy
I use this one: renf-cache-9.server.ntli.net / Port: 8080

But can't get to it with using no proxy

Re: Not able to get on 1 site?

Joxer: The Villa Talk admin says that the email is his. In his words:

That server is not even hosted at the same building. Did you did tell them that the rest of the planet can still access the site?

Works just fine here mate. Could be a DNS issue?

Re: Not able to get on 1 site?

It could be a chaching issue or a DNS issue

Close all your browsers:-

Do > Start > Run > CMD

type ipconfig /flushdns press enter

Closing the browser bit is important. Its more than likely a local issue or a chaching issue.

Have you tried a proxy? www.megaproxy.com click "try it now for free" type the address in.

I think its a caching issue somewhere.

Is that all they said? Typical customer 'support'. I bet it took you an age to get through as well.

No luck. Proxies work just fine. I wouldn't mind but they're so slow.
