Sth Manchester. Had tremor here as well. Glad you lot were about, as I thought I was imagining things.

add 1.11am. just listening to radio 2. Quake seems to be all over uk.

Same in NG17, very unsettling :eek:

I was sitting at my computer upstairs and it felt like someone had yanked my chair back, then I felt the house tremble and I thought I heard the wind pick up really loud as though a Tornado had just passed (not the aeroplane type) then it was over in about 15 seconds, went outside but it was calm so it didn't look like a Tornado.

I think we've had these quakes before where I live but it's the first time I've actually experienced one, makes you wonder what people who've gone through a proper quake must feel like if a small one like this causes alarm!!!
