bbc1 poor picture on freeview
 
hi i have an indoor aeriel

my bbc1 picture is perfectly watchable but its very grainy, while other channels work fine and have good quality

anyone know why its just bbc1?

signal strenth is 70%

Have you tried a retune of the box?

BBC1 is obviously very regional on DTT/Freeview. It would help to know where you are.

A retune won't help a grainy picture. If the PIDS change then yes a retune is required to recover the channel, but grainy pics is not a PID issue.

Crystal Palace probably then. Doubt theres an issue as that transmitter has the largest coverage area in terms of people in the UK. There would be lots complaining. Virgin customers in certain areas also use Crystal Palace for their BBC1 feed.
