In the London editions of a major newspaper, Ricky Hatton, the boxer said, that authorities have to get tough on crime and kids, after someone got seriously assualted in a pub that he had just left, this is happening in everyday life, but to get tough on this, you have to start at grassroots, in major towns and cities all over the country, we have extates, town centres where these kids hang about causing trouble, the reason why is simple, they have no where to go, clubs and community centres are closed due to lack of funding, you have cheap drugs going about that is coming from europe, and cheap booze, that is sold in any shop in the land too kids, what happens with them the parents, do have some control, but out in the street, they don't, they think it is fun to carry a knife, or brick, or bottle just to be one of the lads, but then they do something bad, and get nicked, go before a judge or mag, and get a slap on the wrist, or get three months and out in one, what we have to do, is set up clubs, where they can go, get a motive for life, what they can do, major football clubs, should get involved, to take the kids off the street, set up schemes where they can go, or boys clubs, it won't be solved overnight, but at least it would be a start, maybe Ricky who suggested the idea, could come up with a few, along with his boxing mates.:)

Try some paragraphs I can never read a block of text like that.

I live in Manchester and in an area with lots of young gangs - You could open up 1000 clubs here and they wouldnt go, it could just be a catalyst as groups clash there.

Little turds ruin everything they have so sod em I say.

Most of the skunk etc is home grown, cokes isnt from Europe, nor heroin, crack is manufactured from the coke, plenty of pill factories in Manchester and several crystal meth factories here too now according to the news this morning.

In the London editions of the Sun, Ricky Hatton (the boxer, not the jewellery district) stated that the authorities have to get tough on crime and kids, after reports that someone had been seriously assaulted just after leaving a public house.

This appears to be happening in everyday life, but reduce the chances of this occurring, you have to start at grassroots.

In major towns and cities all over the country, we have estates & town centres where these kids hang about causing trouble; the reason why is simple - they have no where else to go, clubs and community centres are closed due to lack of funding, and you have cheap drugs available.

These drugs are reportedly coming from overseas, as is cheap booze, which is sold in a lot of shops.

Also, what happens is that the parents, who have some control whilst the children are at home, but this appears to disappear when the children are out in the street; the children think it is fun to carry a knife, or brick, or bottle, just to be one of the lads (even the distaff side), but when they commit a crime, and get arrested and are processed throught the justice system, and get off lightly, with just a slap on the wrist, or get three months and are released early, this does not de-incentivise them.

What we need to do is set up clubs, where they can go, perhaps get a motivation to improve their life, and perhaps major football clubs should get involved, to take the kids off the street, set up schemes where they can go; or perhaps boys (or girls, or mixed-gender) sporting clubs.

It won't be solved overnight, but at least it would be a start; maybe Ricky who suggested the idea, could come up with a few more ideas, along with his pugilistic companions.
