it finds and connects but doesnt work

This has happened on my dads computer and on my psp. It connects and says its connected, with 100% signal, but it doesnt let us on the internet.

The router is sweex LW055 and the hardwired(im not sure on terminology lol) connection works fine for mine and my dads computer, its just the wireless that seems broke or unconfigured, im not quite sure.

Re: it finds and connects but doesnt work

It looks like you've enabled WEP security on the wireless. Make sure the password on your devices matches that on your router.

I think these are the defaults:

Quote:

Username: sweex
Password: mysweex
Did you know there is already a Sweex LW055 thread on this forum? http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/87...ss-router.html
