I'm not really a football fan but - I thought the whole point of it being the FA Premier League was that it was recognised as a national organisation and not international?

I thought it was UEFA that was the european organisation?

I think british games should stay in britain...

I thought April fools day came early when i read this. Absoloutley ridiculous, i suppose the Yanks and Chinese will be happy though :(

Have to agree with you all. This is a dumb idea and it adds an extra fixture. Would you want to be the team on the last day of the season 1 point from the drop having to play Man Utd in Japan.

The games would be played in January but its still an interesting point. Imagine having to play an extra game against Utd or Arsenal while a team your fighting against gets to play Fulham or Derby. It makes a mockery of the league.

Yep, January, the bussiest time of the year for football in England, just when you need your players flying half way round the world :rolleyes:
