your local library should be able to help you out with what is available to you regarding further education in your area, also does your local college have a website you can search?

It depends.... if you want a 1on1 tutor, they normally cost about £15 per hour.

A night class would probably save you money and you may be eligible for part of your course to be paid for you, depending on your financial situation, where you live, etc.

There are online resources to get you started...

Yeah but you'll know from how much time you spent at French how long it takes to even learn the basics of a new language. Some people are lucky and pick it up easy, others need to spend a lot of time and effort.

Once you get the basics, spend some time in Spain and you will pick it up much quicker than from out of a book.

French and Spanish are very similar, all latin languages.

If there are enough hours in the day, and the plane timetables allow, you can travel as much as you like. Whether it's actually sensible to do that, cost of fares versus time spent in the destination, is another matter.

I've flown to Paris for the day, went to euro disney and was home tucked up in bed by midnight. It was hard going though. I'd stay at least a night.
