Hi

I am interested in buying this router, but unfortunately its not out in the UK and D-Link have no dates as to when it will be released or whether it will be released

Will wirelesss routers from the states work in UK with virgin media 20meg?

Or anyone know any different about this router being released?

Thanks

I think there would be no problem at all. I myself bought Belkin N1 Vision from US few months ago before it was available here.

the only issue that you would have with an american router is that its limited to 11 channels instead of 13 for Europe. and yes the powersupply is different so might have to watch out for that.

another side issue, have you found any company in the states that is willing to send to the uk as you might have to pay import duties etc.

btw belkin have an identical router on the market in the uk mate

I have used it and its good :)

The biggest question would be whether the power brick was 100-250v input or just 100-120v input. If the latter you would need to replace the power brick or get a step up transformer to plug the existing one into. Finding a transformer should not be a problem as long as you know the output voltage, current, plug size and polarity.
