Multiple HD Boxes on Sky?

I was with Sky digital for over 4 years when last march i decidedto have all my bills under one company (i had internet and phone with virgin media)

I have got 2 V+ boxes and a regular cable boxin the house.

After many problems and lack of HD content, i am wanting to return to sky, is it possible to have 2 hd boxes and a seperate 'normal' box using sky? If so, how much would this cost

Thanks in advance

Re: Multiple HD Boxes on Sky?

I couldn't add a 3rd box on the website on the package builder but for all 6 entertainment mixes (no premium) and the 2 HD boxes it comes to:

Quote:

Monthly Costs
Monthly TV Cost 21.00
Sky HD Subscription 10.00
Sky HD Subscription 10.00
Multiroom Subscription 10.00
Total Monthly Costs 51.00
One-Off Costs
Sky HD box 199.00
Sky HD box 299.00
Standard Set Up 30.00
Total One-off Costs 528.00
Package Builder: http://mysky.sky.com/portal/site/skycom/shop/products and click 'Join Now'

Hope This Helps

Re: Multiple HD Boxes on Sky?

One issue would be the number of LNB connections AFAIK HD requires the same as SKY+ which is two feeds (unless you don't want recording on one box) so you'd need 5 connections at least - most LNB's are 4 max. So this might mean another dish or a 2nd arm/LNB config.

Octo LNB's (8 outputs) are also available from Sky when necessary.

We have one - it supplies 2 sky+ and one standard box :tu:
