Help Please Belkin Router

Hi,

Up the wall with a problem installing a wireless router in our home.

We are with virgin media broadband.

We have 2 desktop pc's and a laptop.

I bought a belkin router set which included a wireless USB adapter.

The model number is F5D9230UK4A

It is a G+ Mimo.

I replace our old router with this wireless one, and called the network HOME D.

The network could be found from all pc's.

Connected the modem to the router... the main desktop to the router.. and the power cable to the socket. everything hooked up.

The network could be found with an excellent signal strength and we can connect to the network on all pc's/laptops.

BUT

we can't connect to the internet??? I dont understand why.

The pc's are using XP home edition and the laptop is on vista.

When i go on the network and shairng centre on the laptop it shows that it is connected to the network but that the internet is disconnected.

Why is the internet disconnecteD?

help please anyone. thanks

rachael

Double check modem network cable to router is plugged into correct position

I once managed to plug my router back into itself, and only figured it out when I was pulling them all out to start again:D
