ex Nasa scientist invents a new, greener electrical generator.

A man whose claim to fame is inventing the Super Soaker was working for NASA and has invented a new method of generating electricity from heat.

The advantage it has over other methods is it apparently a *lot* more efficient than current methods., and could be applied to (say) solar energy to make collecting solar energy a lot more efficient.

It can also be applied to any method of generating electricity as long as that method generates heat (so, Nuclear or Fossil fuels), and makes that a lot more efficient as well.

Sadly, we are some way from it actually being viable, but it's a start..

Always interesting to read about something new being created and ways it can be used. :tu:
