Virgin 300+300 Number Porting Process
I just got my o2 number ported to my virgin sim,
but the customer services lady was going on about me getting a new sim card in the post and i couldnt exactly make out what she was saying cos of her accent, now i am clueless about the whole process apart from the fact i am gettin a new sim in the post and my number gets ported on the 15th. Can someone explain? |
Re: Virgin 300+300 Number Porting Process
Virgin Mobile? Their customer services are in the UK AFAIK...unless you were talking to the Virgin Media people.
You need a Virgin Mobile Sim, then your O2 number will be ported across. You should be able to use your O2 sim up to your port date, then simply put the Virgin Mobile sim card in, leave your phone switched on and wait for the magic to happen! |

Re: Virgin 300+300 Number Porting Process
sorry guys,
i dont think you understood me, i already have a virgin mobile sim on the 300+300 for £10 deal. this is the sim i wanted to port the number across to, but they started banging on about a new sim and ii didnt understand a word cos previously whenever i have ported a number across i havent had to get a new sim but just switch off my current sim on that day for the number to be ported across |
Re: Virgin 300+300 Number Porting Process
So you currently have 2 sim cards, a Virgin one and an O2 one?
That probably confused the person you spoke to, I'd say try again. |
