The opening keynote address from the president of Panasonic, Toshihiro Sakamoto, had one thing that Bill Gates' keynote yesterday lacked: A monstrous 150-inch plasma screen Panasonic calls the Life Screen.

I was looking at this last night. Comparing it to my 74" screen it looks amazing. Its the same size as my entire wall..... That would be cool.

But the power consumption is reported to be a staggering 3kW.

That'll push up the electricity bill a bit!

TBH, if you want a screen that large, you are better off with a projector.

Ahhhh if only I could wear glasses :)

I must admit I did toy with the idea of a projector instead of the 32inch TV I use at the moment, but I didn't want to keep replacing bulbs.
