Need Help With Opening Ports
 

I need to open port 1232 on all of my network devices to let a game server run through! Here is my network diagram: Link , my main problem is the IP addresses i think! Do i need to set the server address to my PC or to the network device before it? eg: the dlink to the IP address of the Netgear?

Looking at that diagram you need your head testing. Why make life so complicated for no reason?

There have been threads and threads created by the OP including one about having two routers created by the OP and he still ignores peoples advice :rolleyes:

Not sure about the ADSL modem and not clear whether the game is on the wired 'server' or wireless PC.
If on the server, the firewall needs to know to route traffic on that port to the IP of the wired server.
If on a wireless PC, the firewall needs to allow traffic on to the router's IP and the router needs to pass the same port on to the PC's IP.
Not trivial but should work.

Do i have to open the ports to let it through, or route it?

Usually open the ports on a firewall and forward them on a router.
