Router Advice On Budget
Hi all.
Right I am after sorting wireless out for my house for under £100. I have a gaming desktop on Vista SP1 32BIT, my partner has a Windows XP Home SP2 laptop which lacks a PCMIA slot and has no inbuilt wireless. We also have a Sony PSP, two Nintendo DS Lites and a Wii to connect up to the net. I assume the laptop will be fine on a USB Dongle, my pc can connect hardwired to the router, and a G router would be fine with the DS lite's, PSP, and Wii? Hope that all makes sense, and now for the recommendations I am hoping for sub £100 all in, and no frills just a nice simple router for my house to get me wireless. |

Re: Router Advice On Budget
You can get a D-Link Wireless N Gigabit Router for just less than £100 and it sings!
It does the wireless "N" business and has four hard wired gigabit ethernet ports. You'll be future proofed and can set up your gaming, machines etc individually to have higher/lower priorities. Have a look at the D-Link site, it's an excellent machine. I got mine from Amazon which worked out cheapest as you got free delivery |
Re: Router Advice On Budget
Could you link me to that Progers, and are you sure it would be compatable with the Sony PSP and DS Lite alongside the Nintendo Wii, also I would require it to have a USB Dongle for my partners laptop.
