Replacing 1st Gen nano battery

Anyone ever had it done? I've had my nano almost 2 years now and the battery isn't lasting anywhere near what it used to. I've read online that it's not really a job for anyone other than an expert as the battery is soldered on to the PCB and it's clearly out of warranty so I was wondering if it's worth giving to one of those electronics shops to deal with.

It's not liable to make it any worse.

How much do they charge for this service?

It's £49 from apple themselves

I'd give it ago yourself if you have a soldering iron.
