You need the correct drivers.

BTW - Posting in the correct forum might help...

i have the correct drivers iv got the floppy disc that was with my adapter, can i move this thread then?

Re: Realtek Help!

Remove it from Device Manager and reboot then it asks for drivers, feed it the location of the floppy...

A mod will have to move it for you...they will be along shortly as I've just reported it...

Correct it does, if it isn't installing the drivers, there's likely something wrong with the adapter.

Had a similar problem with Realtek drivers, not that there was actually anything wrong (hopefully ours is now solved).

Have you changed firewall and/or virus checker? Ours was caused by either AVG or Comodo (not sure which), now we are just using Avast it seems to be OK.
