Help with D-Link Secure Spot?

I was wondering if anyone knew about the setup of this product: http://www.dlink.com/products/securespot/

I was wondering if i would need a cable modem and my router, or if i can plug it into my router and not have a extra modem!

Help!

What setup do you have? Cable or ADSL? Makes and model numbers of all the kit?
