IRC bot

Looking for an IRC bot script I can have sit on a channel record what's being said and can PM it to someone on join or upon request (haven't decided which)

Its going to be run off my home system as I only need it to be present in the channel during certain times.

I'm running Kubuntu mostly, although a windows equivalent would also be handy so someone else can run it if i'm not around

Its for a clan who often hold a weekly meeting to discuss what times they will be playing.etc

and its a pain to keep filling people in who either join late or get disconnected so having something to take care of that for us would be handy.

Eggdrop is a very configurable bot as long as you've got the patience to learn it, beware though as some networks ban them!

Quakenet allow it ;)
I've got the thing connecting now and to auth with Q
Its running on my "server" machine (my network storage server)

Its fire walled so external sources cannot DCC or Telnet into it (i can via telnet localhost ;) )

Now all I need to do is find the script to make it record and playback the channel contents.
