Wireless with a STB for PC & Xbox 360
 

As a novice to all of this can some one help....?

I currently clone my PC address to use my xbox360 online (via cable from STB). Was previously with NTL (if relevant)

The wife is getting annoyed as i am on Halo 3 all the time and wants us to go wireless so she can use the laptop and i can use the 360 at the same time.

Laptop is new-ish so has wireless card built in so do i just need a wirless router to start things off?. Recomendation please ;)

I already have the 360 wireless bit on pre order.

Also how easy is setup? - any help on this would be appreciated & needed :confused:
as i have read the STB complicates things

Just get a router, though the STB would complicate, it might need reregistering, might need to clone the MAC of something, its all complicated :/

But yes, a router is all you need, and the CD you get with it will set it up. Recommendations, seems Netgear and D-Link are favorites here, especially when coping with faster speeds.
