invalidcosdomain
Help this is my first time on cable forum. I joined Virgin Media yesterday and have been trying to set up new email accounts but keep getting Invalidcosdomain. How can I set up new email accounts. When I was with NTL before it was quite easy. Also how can I get my old NTL email working? I don't want to ring the tech department and pay loads of money.

Re: invalidcosdomain
Don't enter the domain suffix on the email address, it's already there in the box :)

:welcome: to Cable Forum :tu:
If you call the tech support, they will merge your old ntl account emails into your current account, that assumes your account was still active. If the emails aren't associated with an active account things might be more problematic. It's not something you'll be able to resolve yourself. When I moved from Set Top Box to modem based broadband, whcich meant a new broadband account, the tech call cost was refunded. |

Re: invalidcosdomain
You Guys cannot be serious about this "invalidcosdomain" scenario? I have jsut tried and keep getting that message afer 3 years, does Virgin have the deatils of this forum. I would think Richard Branson should as his name is all over the "How To" videos which patently don't work. I don't want to phone up I just want to add addreses as I want.
I could go to the Post IOffice I suppose and send a letter instead! That is if I can find a post office that is still open! |
