Java problems

Cant play any videos in Youtube.

Keeps coming up with this

Quote:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
I have updated the flash player two times and uninstalled it and installed again and nothing seems to work.

Java has also been reinstalled and nothing.

The same Happens in Firefox and IE. I am using firefox as my main explorer

Any advice please.

Are you using any kind of ad/script blocking extensions or software?

Argh! you used the N-word! How'd that get past the swear filter? :p:

Seriously though, that's probably the answer. Check its logs & you'll probably see that it's blocking somthing on Youtube.

Have you made sure you've got the latest version of Java? Then again, I could be getting Java & Javascript mixed up.

java and javascript are completely different - re-installing java won't help your javascript issues

Re: Java problems

I Should of said I have reinstalled Javascript twice

---------- Post added at 09:57 ---------- Previous post was at 08:45 ----------

Javascript is working as I did some tests on the net. But Youtube is still displaying the message i put up to.

I have also turned my Firewall off to see if it was that and its still displaying the error message on youtube

---------- Post added at 11:07 ---------- Previous post was at 09:57 ----------

And now Flash is refusing to install at all.

Keeps saying there is a error and will not continue

So it was the dreaded N-word after all, eh? ;)

You have re-enabled XP's firewall, haven't you? You don't want to leave your machine wide-open.
