Cable modem to xbox 360 (MTU failed)
 

my friend got Virgin BB today and have the ethernet going from the modem to the 360 with no router, don't have a PC either. Everytime on the 360 network settings test, the MTU fails.

What could the problem be?

(Have already tried turning the modem off then on again)

Hey, I'm having trouble too! :(
That Microsoft thing really didn't help at all <cough>
Ringing up Virgin didn't help either, couldn't understand what most of the people on the other end of the phone were saying...
I have it running through a set-top box atm, but a modem is on its way!
Any ways around this problem, because I just purchased an Elite and it's just sat there looking all sad and live-less =[
