help-absolute cheapest laptops

Hope this is the right place.

I need some links, prices and general help finding a new/refurbed/2nd user good nick laptop for wor lass.

it'll get used for college/uni work (So I can get 2 mins on my pc again) and probs surfing the net, thats it.

doesnt have to even have an O/S installed. I can sort that and all other software. enough cpu and ram to run either Ubuntu or xp. pref a USB or PCMCIA slot.
would like to keep it this side of £200 if poss. since i doint usually buy pc related stuff from anywhere but work, i'm a bit confused as to where to get me hands on this mythical machine

you'd think working in a PC shop i'd be able to get hold of one, but alas any laptops we get offerred as 2nd hand tend to be not worth buying.

Extremely power hungry, avoid it. The laptop on the other hand looks just fine ;)
