Re: My webspace layout

If you just dump files into your userspace and then browse to your space by entering into the addressbar:
homepage.ntlword.com/j.smith

where j.smith is your own ntl username.

you need to use an FTP program to transfer files accross.
This one is easy to use and you see your computer on one side of the window and your user space on the other. Then you just transfer stuff accross.
You will need to put in some upload details such as your password and NTL username.
Host is upload.ntlworld.com. Username is your username, eg. j.smith
Put in your password and igore the acount box.

ftp://ftp.accesscom.com/pub/win/ftp/ws_ftp95.exe

Re: My webspace layout

The layout of Paul's site is called a directory listing. Blueyonder disables this by default but NTL doesn't.

You can re-enable it though. Create a file called .htaccess and put this in it:

Code:

IndexOptions +FancyIndexing
or
Code:

Options +Indexes
