Hi,

Do you need any special login information to login to the news.cable.ntlworld.com news server?

I am using Unison (Mac OS X) and I just get a permission denied error whenever I try to log in. I've tried using my e-mail address and password and various combinations (including trying my e-mail address without the @ntlworld.com bit) but no joy.

Can anyone help?

I don't use any login for news.cable.ntlworld.com, just leave it empty.

Hi

Sorry, realised the problem after wondering why I couldn't get into my Virgin Media Cable Modem's config pages... I had both AirPort (to my ADSL line) and Ethernet (to my VM Modem) connected and the computer was using the AirPort connection by default, therefore I obviously was appearing to the news.cable.ntlworld.com news server as not having a VM IP address!
