Cancelled VM, now need to sort out e-mail...
 
I won't go into a long drawn out explanation of the saga, but I have finally cancelled all my VM services after 10 years with blueyonder and VM.

I will be going for an isp (bethere) that does not supply an e-mail account.

I have set up a Gmail account. I currently have a '@blueyonder.co.uk' email address.

Can anyone tell me a simple way to divert all emails to the blueyonder account name to the gmail one, or do i have to email each person I know and tell them my email address has changed and to use the Gmail one.

Unless you do something to stop it happening your BY account will die very soon anyway. You would be better off telling everyone you are changing providers and email addresses before your BY account closes completely.

No, once you cancel your account, you will loose your email address(es). It will be held for you for 90 days after you leave in case you want to come back, but during that time you won't be able to access that account. After 90 days any aliases you had with that account will be freed for use by another account.
