Sorry I'm an idiot when it comes to wireless.
I am trying to connect my PS3 to the internet wirelessly and whilst I have been able to at the moment I can't use the internet on my pc when on the PS3 internet or vice versa. I have an NTL cable modem connected to the PC through the usb cable and then a linksys WRT54GS-UK router connected to the modem with the ethernet cable which the PS3 is then wirelessly connected to. Now the Internet works fine on both with this set up but only as long as the other one is not using it already. I have to switch the modem off and on each time I want to switch between PS3 and PC internet. Pleasecan you help me sort this out. I know this is the 3rd time I've made a thread about this kind of thing but like I say, I'm idiot when it comes to this. Thanks for the help.

Re: Sorry I'm an idiot when it comes to wireless.
Your cable modem should be connected to the router via ethernet cable. You should then have the PC connected to the router via ethernet cable. The USB cable should be nowhere in the equation.
If you setup this way then you will be able to connect PC and PS3 at the same time. |
