:welcome: to the site.

I have moved your post out of the articles section (which is reserved for reference articles) into the main forum, which is for queries and help.

shotofook, you can from the main virgin media homepage - sign in to your main email account, and then from there you can 'manage' the account and open loads of other email addresses. :)

:erm: that's odd. you may need to phone india, :erm: I mean bb / technical support - though you could try just phoning customer services and see if you get lucky... else, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along within the next 12 hours to see if they can help. :)

I am sure i spoke to someone from asia about this before, but i am afraid i did not make any sense because they had no idea what i was trying to explain.I can live in hope of speaking to someone who has a computer some day,not just a manual that tells you to press sift alt delete. Thanks anyway.

The Invalidcosdomain error has existed for quite a few months now. I had the same problem trying to add an address 3 months ago. There was a thread running in CF about it a while back but for some reason the thread was closed!!!

If you encounter this error on your account you cannot modify or add email addresses yourself, but CS can on your behalf.

VM seem to be dragging their feet over resolving this fault!!!

Searching the forum for "invalidcosdomain" returns seven threads, all of which are still open and in public view:

Is your thread not one of those?

when you enter the new email address, do NOT type the @ntlworld.com suffix or you will get this error! (the @blahblah is already printed)

ChrisT, Thx for reply, I definitely recall the thread on this topic running approx May/June this year being closed with a message some like, this issue has now been resolved!!! Curiously now having checked I find that very thread, opened by cimt on 25/05/2007, now appears to be open again, how strange!!!!

The Moderator Log for that thread is empty ... in other words it has never been closed. ;)
