Router Setup Problems
 

I have just up from 4mb to 20 mb connection, ie from the old settop box connection to a seperate cable modem, but now I cant get my router to set up :mad:

The router is a Kcorp KLG-575 which worked fine on the old set top box connection but just will not work with the cable modem :confused:

Any sugestions ???

Yep, 1. Reboot the modem after connecting the Router

tried that, and all the usual shut down and restart procedures.

When I finally gave up and reinstated direct to the pc had loads of problems then even getting that to work. Not helped by the fact the installation engineer didnt leave a password for the new account!
It took several attempts with the installation disc to get it up and running again.
