databses not working in pwp using Front Page

Gurus,

Using Frpont page and using the FPSE on blueblunder - no problem EXCEPT for databases.

Created a simple one table access (.mdb) file and saved it to the root directory of a sub web. Created table.asp and inserted database results using 'Insert', 'database', 'results'.

Published it and except for the table headers - nothing

Site is http://b2pcalunch.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/test_mdb/
Anyone know if blueyonder pwp FULLY supports this feature of FPSE?

If not, any oidea how I can EASILY access databases?

Other than FP I have v little knowledge of web design

TIA
Bernie

Blueyonder's web site facilities are very basic. They won't support databases, php or similar. You'll need a full webhosting package for that which includes a SQL package.

Most (if not all) paid hosts support Frontpage, you can find one for a few quid a month.

Thanks Guys -

As I suspected - "mickey mouse" stuff only on pwp.

However, getting alternate web hosting makes it all a bit more expnsive

Shame you can't just have the b/band access and email facilities without pwp - at a discount of course ;)

Cheers
Bernie

Why, the PWP is a freebie addon.
