Port are forward
 
Ok I am on 10MB vm bb however I am using a router wired netgear but when I check if my ports are fowarded they aint but the little green light is on in utorrent anyone know why

Is UPNP enabled by any chance, not that I've ever used utorrent but that's my guess.

Options>preferences>connection for the upnp as far as i recall...

It`ll be in the preferneces somewhere:)

open a command prompt, or type cmd in the run diag.

Within a command prompt type ipconfig /all press enter.

Look for the default gateway, you'll see something like this -

Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.101.1

Type that number into IE.exe - http://192.168.101.1

You should now be at the routers configuration page where you can set up port forwarding. May be a good idea to set up a prefered dhcp lease on your machines IP, or set a manual IP otherwise you could loose the forwarding.
