Possible NIC problem

Hi,
Just had my link upgraded to 20mb, Virgin sent the a new modem, but speed only running at 8mb at best.
I have a Zyxek 335 router which I bypassed to eliminate as a cause of the problem .I am running XP Pro SP2 , with VMWare set up as well. Could the problem be related to the onboard NIC (Intel 10/100) not being able to handle the faster (!!!) speed.

Re: Possible NIC problem

Intel 100 meg chips can handle the speed. We have tons of them at work, and they reliably handle 100 meg, so they can handle 20.
