Slow Connection Basinsgtoke
 

Hi,

VM customer in Basingstoke Hants

I have been experiencing a slow connection for weeks. For example even connecting to VM's mail server is slow. Ran ping continuously and had about half attempts as "Destination Host Unreachanble" Tried various other sites with the same problem.

Tried a different PC, same problem.

Reset both router and modem, power off for a few minutes, same problem.

Assuming I don't have a bad connection somewhere or either modem or router have a problem, and I have unplugged and plugged all the connections, then its the VM connection itself.

As I don't want to pay 25p per minute to Inform VM they have a problem, then any suggestions as to other checks I can make, ways I can report a problem without paying VM for the privledge appreciated.

If I'm in the wrong forum, then polite replies appreciated

PS I dont get any graphics in IE7 so maybe missing a lot in here :-)
