speed? problems
 

Before I ring virgin on the 25p a min line I wonder if anyone here can help

We have a 2mb connection. We also use a belkin wireless g plus router, but the 2nd computer is wired. We have slow speed problems mainly when both comps are on together. Downstairs is used mainly for WOW and upstairs for msn. When we are using both the speed slows dramatically (it didn't with BT). Yesterday we didn't have enough speed to connect to the internet so I had to unplug the wireless router and this solved the problem. Is the problem with the router or our 2mb speed.

Is there anything I can do before I call them. As you can maybe guess I don't have much of a clue.

If it works without the router, it probably isn't the 2Mb connection.

Have you checked the settings on the router (no QoS limits)?

It may help if you screen-shot the router settings (hiding any personal info such as IP addresses).
