Intermittent audio on Discovery

Anyone else had a problem with intermittent loss of audio on Discovery?

Most of the time it's Norman Collier-esque with audio just disappearing for 1-2 seconds but every now and again it's fine.
The same loss of audio is not apparent on our Sky box.

Just curious.
Pete.

I've had the same problem with sound fading in and out on certain channels. This would continue hapening throughout the programme. But on Freeview digital ITV channels only, cable is fine. All ok last night so, fingers crossed, problem has sorted itself out. Hope yours does to.

As a user of V+ I experience this on several Discovery channels. This is a known poblem for V+ affecting lower bit rate channels.

If your using a standard V box then I would suggest you contact VM as there may be a problem with your box. I have never experienced this problem with my standard V box.

If your using V+ then I've heard that a code drop is expected some time in August. Hopefully this will address the problem as some have suggested.
