Wireless range

I have a Vigor 2800VG, and I would like to extend its wireless range.

I have a spare Linksys WRT54G. Can I somehow use it for this purpose? It's got dd-wrt, but I can install some other firmware if necessary.

Any ideas?

Get a antenna. Or i think you could use the Linksys AP by connecting it through a ethernet port.

According to this link, yes using WDS. At least the WRT54G is WDS capable, not sure about the Vigor.
But don't expect great speeds from it.

If you want to do it without cables I think you'll be out of look, Draytek's implementation of WDS doesn't work with much else other than Draytek.

Found this out while researching how to link a Vigor 2800 and two D-link 2100AP's.

If you go on the draytek help forum and do a search on WDS, you'll come to the same conclusion.
