Back on old router
 

Dug my old router out due to problems with my wireless belkin. Need to get into the router config but cannot remember the username and password.

Is it a lost cause?

Reset the router and have a look at the manufacturer's site for the default username and password. If it's a linksys router try 'admin' for password and username.
