"Stop'ing" a dsl/phone line
Not sure if that's the correct term
I cancelled Bulldog last month and it's due to be cut off sometime on the 17th But, I want to actually get them to remove their equipment from the exchange before that, or give up ownership of the line, because BT claim they can't touch it, until bulldog has up and moved So can I request they remove it, before the official expiry date? |
Re: "Stop'ing" a dsl/phone line
I doubt that can be done because other people in the exchange might want bulldog and they are entitled to have the service in the exchange so no way mate

Re: "Stop'ing" a dsl/phone line
I think AdamD means he wants Bulldog to disconnect his line from their equipment. Not for Bulldog to remove all their equipment from the exchange.
Edit: Adam: the cutoff data is the 17th, which is 3 days away. Can't you just wait a couple of days? |

Yea, sorry
Lack of sleep when writing that post I'm afraid, heh And yea, it's only 3 days away, gonna wait it out. |
Re: "Stop'ing" a dsl/phone line
Only thing you could have done is paid up Bulldog and asked them to release the line early. They can certainly do that.
It's the same as anything else with a notice period, if they aren't too anal so long as you pay them they won't be too bothered whether they're supplying a service or not. |
Re: "Stop'ing" a dsl/phone line
Cut off date was the 16th, but it's still connected
Bit worrying, heh |
