Change from BB via STB to SACM

A question from a novice - I plan to change from my existing wireless broadband via the STB to a wired SACM connection - at the same time I will be getting a new PC.

I assume I will get an installation CD/DVD - will the installation process treat me as a new customer? - if so, how do I go about keeping my existing blueyonder email address?

yes you will receive an installation cd for your new SACM,yes you will be treated as a new customer.your blueyonder address will remain yours,on registration you will receive a new @ntlworld.com e-mail address but this doesnt automatically replace any others, its your option if you wish to use it.;)

You should be able to retain your existing account. If you can't see an option to do this when you run through the installation process, contact tech support as they should be able to point your old account at your new modem.

just run the disc which will take you to the SACM registration website, once its registered and done a reboot (this is sent from the server to assign a public I.P. address) you can just continue as you were b4,theres no need to ring anybody ;)
