Cannot ftp to homepage

Has anyone got any ideas, I am trying to upload my website to my homepage but I keep getting the message that the server has dropped my connection.

I have recently bought a new computer and have only had this problem since then. I am using Terrapin which was the program I used before.

I am quite new to webpages but didn't have any problem putting up the first site.

Many thanks
Cath

hi :welcome: - is this your VM webspace, you mention, or are you hosted elsewhere?

Probably a setting in terrapin, are you ftp'ing in passive mode? Any firewall software on the PC?
