I can view those particular sites fine, however I'm in the Dundee area and since yesterday morning about 1 in every 4 site's I try and visit has been unavailable.

Seems I'm being routed outside of Dundee initially at the moment ( Bradford uBR? ):

Hi

I'm in Edinburgh and I'm having the same problem (although with different websites). Glad its not just me! I don't know anything about the technical side so cant really offer any advice, but if you use a web based proxy, it should let you access the sites you cant at the moment until whatever the problem is is fixed!! :)

If you get any more info, could you post here?

Thanks

Re: problem viewing 2 websites?

This sounds like the same problem I've had accessing my online banking site. I live in the Fife area too. However, I spoke to Virgin's help centre around 8.30 pm yesterday and was told they were aware of the ongoing problem and their technicians were working on it. Don't know why the Virgin status page gives today as the start of the problem. Seems to be taking a long time to correct. I'm wondering if there is some kind of security (or lack of security) problem with Virgin's access to these secure sites. Bank's helpline yesterday told me there was a problem with Virgin customers accessing and directed me to Virgin for help. (See thread 'Natwest/RBS)

Hi,
I live in opposite end of country in Orpington, Kent and since Tuesday PM, I can't access ebay site, games workshop site or log in to interenet banking. Spent 15 mins with tech support @ 25p/min last night, who then admitted they had a problem on the network! Just a bit frustrating as I sell a lot of items on ebay and at present can't access it to see what has been sold!
