Wireless Network Causing Msn Problems

Since connecting up my wireless network, Msn (Windows Live Messenger) cuts out every 3 or 4 minutes. I don't really know why but does anybody have any suggestions on what to do.

Is your wireless connection dropping completely or are you just losing the server connection in the application?
