NTL FTP Address Problems
Hi all,
Don't know if this has been asked already on this board but I'll ask anyway:) I can connect to my ntl webspace no problem using ws-ftp but I would like to use the drag and drop facility of of typing ftp://username:password@upload.ntlworld.com into the browser address bar. When I try to open the ftp page in Explorer as instructed, I get the message: Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you the permission to access the folder. to me it seems as though I need the permissions to be set to allow me in, any ideas on how to do this please? Re: NTL FTP Address Problems
If you have opened this in Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) or use the address bar in any Windows folder, after you get the error, click on file, I think you should then see a "login as" option.
If not, try using just ftp://upload.ntlworld.com in a Window address bar, this then gives you the error, close error window and do file/login as. Hope that helps |
