Whats going to happen?
 

My website URL is still saying ntlworld. Now virgin have taken over is it safe to assum the server will change to something else, will i have to upload my webpage all over again to a different server?

My guess is that it will just become homepage.virginmedia.com, and you won't need to re-upload

Oh thats ok then, Cheers Gavin. NTL deleted my website once and i didnt have a back up, now i have like 4 back ups but would take me a week to re upload *Sigh*

So if it changes to homepage.virginmedia.com, won't that be a pain if your site is linked to from other places?

Well they did state somewhere that if you wanted to keep your .ntlworld email addresses you could so maybe it will be an optional change?

But then, the webspace NTL/VM/BY Provide isn't really meant for anything serious anyway? If you want decent reliable hosting, splash a couple of quid each month, some good web hosting can be had with good features without breaking the bank.

Any idea when this E-mail address change is meant to be happening Paul ?
