Frame bursting/turbo mode?

Noticed was getting quite a bit of packetloss on my wi-fi network despite having a good signal.

Turned off framebursting and turbo mode (since none of my wi-fi clients support the routers turbo mode anyway)

Reading up on frame bursting it looks like it crams a load of short packets together or something to increase speed or something along those lines... (http://www.jiwire.com/glossary.htm?id=168) turning it off seems to have improved the packetloss i was getting (seeing hardly any now where as before i was getting around 4%).

At somepoint i might change my desktop over from wi-fi to one of those homeplug adaptors just waiting to see if the price drops a bit ;)
